The top of the ariel photo on this page is facing just about due north-- Only 10 minutes to the east is sprawling suburbia including shopping malls, chain restaurants, local eateries, & more. Virtually ALL Orlando attractions are within 35 easy minutes! Note: At certain times, TOURS of The Ever After Estate are available for those who are seriously interested in renting it. Tours last 45-60 minutes and are $285 per group. Once you officially book your stay, $200 of the tour fee is credited to your account/total. To qualify to visit, you MUST have already watch this site's videos, viewed at least several of our virtual tours, and looked over the estate floor plan. About The Location

The Ever After Estate is easily accessible by car [a short, road bridge on the western side of the island connects it to the mainland]. Alternatively, some guests charter helicopters to land in our field at 28*31\9240.15\94N, 81*47\9249.25\94 W.  Our property is located approximately 29 miles west (and slightly north) of the city of Orlando. Barely 7 miles away from our property is Orlando's sprawling suburb, Clermont. Located in scenic Lake County, Clermont is the only region in peninsular Florida to boast rolling hills [there's even a small "mountain" just north of Clermont!] AND a gorgeous chain of more than a dozen freshwater lakes connected to each other by gorgeous, lazy canals. Boasting an ever-growing population, Clermont is bustling with strip malls, major restaurants, shopping chains, city health services, & more. We are barely 10 minutes from grocery stores, hotels, etc; Most Central Florida attractions (Disney World, Universal Studios, etc;) are within about 35 minutes of our gate! We're SO close that you can HEAR the Disney fireworks EVERY night from our property and even catch a glimpse! Attractions IN Clermont include: The Lake Ridge Winery, The Citrus Tower, Presidents Wax Museum, Clermont Bowling Alley, Epic Cinema, Skyzone Indoor Trampoline Park, SugarLoaf Mountain, and the Chain of Lakes (fishing, boating, scenery, etc;)...Nearby, Groveland also offers a slice of "old" small town Florida plus such attractions at tandem hang gliding!

Climate

Located in the heart of Central Florida, our climate is essentially the same as that of Orlando and its many attractions: Warm and humid from Mid-May through Mid-October and cool & beautiful (PERFECT, in fact!) from late October through early May. Although our summer afternoons are, admittedly quite hot, it usually cools off by early evening after our almost-daily 1 hour thunderstorms which give way to pink puffy clouds, cool breezes, and gorgeous sunsets. Indoors, you'll find plenty of air conditioning throughout the property...

Maintenance

Since they're used by the owner's family throughout much of the year (while not rented out), the buildings and grounds are very well-maintained. During your stay, you will have contact phone numbers for all external/outside maintenance personnel should you need anything repaired/cleaned. A concierge and a general handyman will be on-call as well. 1-2 times each week, a pool cleaning service will show up and once each week, the property will be cared for by a team of lawn service & grounds maintenance workers. If you prefer NOT to have these workers show up at all during your stay, please let us know when we call to confirm your reservation (an additional charge may apply to cover the cost of subsequent maintenance following your departure). Daily housekeeping and additional concierge services are available upon request.
